The Aquarium de Paris presents its visitors with the largest collection of jellyfish in Europe, and one of the most important in the world. Fascinating and bewitching, jellyfish are also a source of fear, often justified, for the general public. Around 50 jellyfish are presented in rotation. Our biologists are experts in the care, maintenance and reproduction of these extraordinary animals. Belonging to the cnidarians, like coral, jellyfish are 98% water. They have no heart, no skeleton, no brain... And yet, they've been on Earth for 650 million years: well before the dinosaurs! But that's just a sample of what you can learn about these fabulous animals.
