WALK
JAPANESE

Since opening its doors in 2006, the Aquarium de Paris has developed a special and strong bond with Japan and its culture.

With this in mind, the Aquarium offers a permanent art trail dedicated to Japanese art. The Promenade japonaise presents works from different periods - Edo (1604 1868), Meiji (1868-1912), Taishō (1912-1921), Showa (1921-1988). The tour offers a diverse panorama of Japanese art.
