The zany characters of Zig and Sharko and their colorful world are spending the summer vacations of 2022 at the Paris Aquarium! In a fun and educational exhibition, they explain the role of lagoons and coral reefs in the ocean, and the need to protect them.

Marina, Zig and Sharko accompany visitors as they discover lagoons, reefs and coral. Always cheerful and mischievous, the characters evoke the environmental issues surrounding coral reefs. The scenography, rich in educational bubbles, explanatory screens and an educational fresco, brings the world of the animated series to life in a fun and accessible way.

Corals are our planet's greatest living builders. They are colonial reef-building animals. The world's coral reefs could cover an area the size of mainland France. Coral is a formidable architect. And these constructions are the main habitat of 90,000 other (identified) species, i.e. a third of all known species in the marine environment. Most of the time, coral reefs form a bulwark against the swells of the open sea, creating lagoons..;
