Les P'tits Génies de l'Océan" competition The Paris Aquarium & Science & Vie magazines
To mark the Year of the Sea, the Paris Aquarium has teamed up with Science & Vie magazines to launch the first-ever school competition, inviting the younger generation to take up an exciting challenge: taking action to preserve the ocean.
🌊 A national competition for classes from kindergarten to 3rd grade
Students and teachers in mainland France and overseas are invited to get involved through three challenges, depending on their school level:
- Kindergarten to 1st grade: Create a poster to raise awareness of ocean protection.
- CE1 to CM1: Take collective action to protect the marine environment.
- CM2 to 3e: Imagine an invention that helps preserve the oceans.
🎒 Each participating class receives a complete teaching kit , with articles, resources and tips for building their project.

Congratulations to this year's winners, whose creativity, commitment and scientific spirit have won them over! Here are the winning classes:
🥇 1st prize winners
- Kindergarten / 1st grade: Nantiat kindergarten
- CE1 - CM1: Ce2 from Georges Sand school in Rueil Malmaison
- CM2 - 3e: CM2 from Flachat school in Asnières sur Seine
These classes will have the chance to :
- Visit the Paris Aquarium on a special day (May 27, 2025),
- See their project published in Science & Vie magazine,
- The Level 1 poster will be displayed in the Paris metro!
🎁 And also...
- Classes ranked 2nd to 5th receive :
- One tote bag per student,
- A magazine from the Science & Vie galaxy,
- A free magazine subscription for the teacher or school.
