The Aquarium de Paris welcomes Maestro, the scientist known to the whole family, for an educational and entertaining exhibition revealing the importance of the Ocean and its ecosystems for the balance of the planet.
Visiting all the waters of mainland and overseas France, visitors discover the incredible benefits that the marine environment has always brought to our daily lives.
The ocean at the origins of life
Life was born in the ocean. Around 3.5 billion years ago, life appeared on Earth in the primary ocean in the form of micro-organisms. All living things evolving on Earth today have evolved from these marine organisms. At the Paris Aquarium's Médusarium©, visitors can marvel at species reminiscent of the first beings to populate our planet, 650 million years ago. By observing the hypnotic movement of jellyfish, it's possible to glimpse the memory of our planet.
