 EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS

In an exhibition designed to appeal to all ages, crustaceans make their comeback at the Aquarium de Paris!

Found in oceans all over the world, crabs and other crustaceans fascinate children and hide many secrets. The "Ça pince!" exhibition will reveal all their mysteries.

What are crustaceans' claws for? When do they change shell? How do hermit crabs choose their shells? Why is the lobster a medical enigma? How did shrimp eyes inspire NASA engineers? ...

Crustaceans: some very surprising species

An institution dedicated to informal environmental education, the Aquarium de Paris introduces visitors to the magic of the ocean and the species that inhabit it.

Discover little-known species such as Mediterranean cicadas, which emit the same sound as their Provençal namesakes, or the shrimps that clean the ponds by feeding on the detritus produced by fish and other invertebrates. In all, some sixty species are brought together to surprise visitors.
