The Paris Aquarium is dedicated to showcasing the world's different marine ecosystems. But it also introduces visitors to domestic species. The latter are very much a part of our everyday lives, and populate our cities.

The petting pool lets you touch koi carp and learn more about their domestication.

The Paris Aquarium also exhibits goldfish. In fact, one of our missions is to take in goldfish from private owners when they can no longer care for them properly.
